FRP Designer provides an efficient solution for designing the strengthening of reinforced concrete (RC) members using FRP laminates. The software computes the bending and shear capacity of RC columns and beams, at first without strengthening, and then considering the user-defined FRP laminates.
Properties of existing members, like geometry, reinforcement layout, materials, loading, code-related parameters, can be easily introduced through a user-friendly interface. A large variety of commercial FRP laminates is available with the software, but the user can also introduce custom FRP laminate types. FRP wrapping parameters like the radius of corners, number of layers, etc., can also be easily introduced.
